Beta, in review. The simulator checks itself against published and exact benchmarks; I am still reviewing that suite, so use results for exploration and confirm numbers that matter independently. How it is tested

About this simulator
Draw electrodes and meshes on a two-dimensional planar or cylindrically symmetric grid, solve Laplace's equation for the electrostatic potential, and trace ions and electrons through the field, including RF waveforms and magnetic fields. Voltage changes recombine precomputed basis fields, so trajectories update while you drag a slider. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
The help page explains the units, the geometry rules, the numerical methods and the validation suite, and lists the keyboard shortcuts.
Independent software written from the open literature. Not affiliated with any commercial ion-optics package.
